SLUH article[edit]

Thanks for the note on my talk page. I keep an eye on the SLUH page and a lot of other St. Louis related articles to try and keep them vandalism free. TMS63112 22:58, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I noticed that you removed Bob Gale from the list of notable alumni at the SLUH page. Your edit summary said no one by that name was listed in the alumni records. If you look at Gale's wiki page you will notice that his full name is Michael Robert Gale. He is notable and it looks like he grew up in St. Louis. Is it possible he is listed in alumni records under Michael? Thanks! TMS63112 15:41, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I checked under the name Michael Gale. No luck. After noting that he was born in 1951, I even went to yearbooks from the 1967, 1968 and 1969 (likely years that someone born in '51 would be in high school). Still no luck. His Wiki page indicates he is from University City, MO. Perhaps he attended University City High? Because of the similarity of names, our school (St. Louis University High) is sometimes confused with University City High School. Patke@sluh.org 16:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK - thanks for your efforts. I can see where the SLUH/Universty City High thing might get some people confused. Since he had a different first name than what he is normally called I just wanted to make sure you had checked for the right person. TMS63112 22:01, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Alumni[edit]

That list on the SLUH page is getting pretty long. What would you think about organizing into career categories – Business, Government, Film & Stage, etc.? --Kbh3rdtalk 14:18, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I had a go at it and put a working example here. I wasn't quite sure how to classify Jean Baptiste. (Perhaps it would be better to have this on the article's talk page.) --Kbh3rdtalk 14:39, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like it. My vote is that you replace the current list with this one. Patke@sluh.org 16:09, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
