As I indicated in my review of the draft article, it needs to comply with the criteria under WP:NSPORT. Specifically they need to have been the subject of multiple published non-trivial secondary sources which are reliable, intellectually independent, and independent of the subject. An argument could potentially be mounted if he was a medalist at an internationally recognized competition, such as the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games or World Championships. It should be worth noting that even the current World Champion and the World Record Holder in the 20,000m event do not have their own articles. Dan arndt (talk) 08:21, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
