I think this could be an article, but has some issues. There are some tone issues " a remarkable journey". The sources are pretty threadbare, and mostly primary. I am also concerned that a lot of this article seems to be original research which is prohibited on Wikipedia - you should simply be summarising or paraphrasing what the sources state, instead of drawing your own conclusions.
