Welcome!

Hello, Pdsen, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  NickelShoe (Talk) 15:11, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  19:11, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages-- it is considered vandalism. You may comment at the respective page if you oppose an article's deletion. Thanks. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  07:38, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Digital Olympic meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Digital Olympic. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  08:04, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to KPMG

[edit]

It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed content from KPMG. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. Kevin_b_er 02:22, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Signing

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --  Netsnipe  ►  17:11, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question from User:Pdsen

[edit]

I would like to delete my name from your website and all my unpublished contributions. How do I do that? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pdsen (talkcontribs) 16:46, October 26, 2006 (UTC).

There's no way we can delete accounts. The best we can do is delete your user pages and retire your account permanently. Could you please elaborate on what you mean by "my unpublished contributions" and provide specific examples. Are you referring to the Digital Life article you started or the articles which we have already deleted? --  Netsnipe  ►  17:10, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I referred to both WCP Group and Digital Life. I still wondered why these articles were deleted? I see companies and their profiles are are added. People are adding their own name and profile for nothing. I just wonder on what basis a few indiduals decide to delete my write-up. Moreover, now I question wonder why do I submit to this community where there is a duality in characterization. --Pdsen 18:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The articles have been deleted and are no longer available to the public, so I'm confused as to how you still want them deleted. They were deleted for not satisfying the criteria set out in Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations) and as discussed per Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Digital_Olympic and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WCP Group. You are free to rewrite these articles as long as you assert the notability of each organisation or you can file an appeal at Wikipedia:Deletion review. So do you want me to delete this account's user pages or not? --  Netsnipe  ►  19:48, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
