April 2022[edit]

Hello, I'm Interstatefive. I noticed that in this edit to Herne Bay High School, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. interstatefive  (talk) - just another roadgeek 17:41, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Herne Bay High School, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you would like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. interstatefive  (talk) - just another roadgeek 17:42, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am not removing content. If you check my previous edits of this, it is a correction to an incorrect statement. The references used are false and the statement about the filming in question is not correct. Pedantrycorner (talk) 17:44, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There are multiple reliable sources stating that the school was the filming location. I've just added a third. Unless you have firm evidence that these multiple reliable sources are incorrect, please do not remove this again. In addition, you have violated the three revert rule on this article. If you revert further and do not take your concerns to the talk page, with evidence of your statements, then you are quite likely to be blocked from editing. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Herne Bay High School, you may be blocked from editing. Please provide a source to support your claim--otherwise the cited content stands. PureRED | talk to me | 17:57, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As has been previously stated, this is not disruptive editing, it is correcting a discrepancy which the media is misinforming the public. At no point in the past 2 years has any filming taken place at the school for this series.Pedantrycorner (talk) 18:01, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You have yet to provide a source countering the others that exist. Your word alone doesn't cut it. PureRED | talk to me | 18:03, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Herne Bay High School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. interstatefive  (talk) - just another roadgeek 18:02, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

New message from Interstatefive[edit]

You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:Herne Bay High School § Content dispute on if the film Heartstopper was filmed here. I've opened a discussion about whether the film was actually filmed there, for dispute resolution. interstatefive  (talk) - just another roadgeek 18:08, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
