Hi Pedrero,

[edit]

I saw you undid the archive bot's archiving at Talk:Prem Rawat [1]. The archive bot's settings are a communal decision (currently: a section is archived after 5 days, with a minimum of 4 talk page sections left on the talk page). See Talk:Prem Rawat/Archive 29#Time for an archive? 53500 words and counting... for I think what was the last discussion we had on this. See User:MiszaBot/Archive HowTo for the technical side of the bot.

Note that the bot captures the dates in the signatures (elicited by 4 tildes) to determine the "age" of a section (it looks for the most recent date per section). So, for example, these updates were ignored by the bot, while no signature was renewed/added. This means that unless you update the sigs the same sections will be archived by the bot in a few hours. Hope this clarifies a bit. --Francis Schonken (talk) 03:37, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Francis, sorry if I have caused trouble, and thanks for your help, I do not even understand what I have done, I do not know what the "bot" is, so I do not understand how I undid something, I have never consciously changed anything written by another person, if that is what I did, unless I make a mistake, I only add what I think is interesting for the subject, and I do not mind to be censored in whatever may be contrary to the rules, which I still do not know completely. I will try to learn about the "dot", its settings, the talk page sections, the dates and updates system as soon as possible, but sorry, Wikipedia is almost infinite, and I have little time left, though I love Wikipedia, it is a dream come true. I apologize and hope you will be patient with me. I will also kindly ask you to tell me why I see my name always in a red font. Is this normal or am I marked by administrators for any reason? And again thanks for your help.Pedrero --Pedrero (talk) 04:02, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't cause any problem, sorry if I gave that impression. Bot = abbreviation for "robot", automated processes. I saw you wanted to keep your updated comments on the talk page, and not have them archived them yet. I hope I helped you with my suggestions, that's all. BTW nothing was deleted, the bot placed the talk page sections at Talk:Prem Rawat/Archive 38. Don't worry about not understanding everything at once, nobody does, and the Wikipedia system is supposed to work as intuitive as possible, so if it doesn't work all that intuitive in some places it is the system's fault, not yours.

Re. your name in red font: click the red text (it's a link), type something (it's your user page), click the "save page" button, and the next time the link will be blue. No, there's no difference between you and other users (even those that are administrator or whatever) in that respect. --Francis Schonken (talk) 04:31, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again Francis, understood. After your clarification I can sleep better now. Best regards.--Pedrero (talk) 09:55, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages

[edit]

Please don't delete comments, even your own, from talk pages. For more information on talk page guidelines, see WP:TPG. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 10:17, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, Will Beback, and thanks. Understood. I have just read one page with guidelines, almost 4000 words, so please be patient, it takes time to learn all the rules. --Pedrero (talk) 17:28, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Improving the article

[edit]

Please don't use the Prem Rawat talk page as an opinion forum. Material that isn't relevant to improving the article shouldn't be posted there.Momento (talk) 22:50, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, then I will simply shorten it and say that in my opinion Expremies Websites are run by mentally sick people and should not be included in Prem's biography. I was trying to explain good enough why these websites are not serious and should not be included, nor critics coming from them, the only information that can come from them. Thanks for your remark. --Pedrero (talk) 22:57, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

But Will Beback said I should not erase anything, even my own comments, so what do I do now?--Pedrero (talk) 22:58, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And sorry to insist, but this discussion page is a sort of forum where some write long to oppose deleting negative remarks and including any positive ones. I do not see I am doing something very different, sorry to tell you, Momento--Pedrero (talk) 23:01, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see it has been deleted. Problem solvled. Sorry.--Pedrero (talk) 23:27, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are, I hope aware (your posting to the Prem Rwat article suggests that you might not be) that the claim that the cult leader has anything to do with the UN is untrue - 41.223.60.60 (talk) 11:02, 26 January 2009 (UTC)--[reply]

Replying on talk page

[edit]

I'm not sure why, but a coupe of times now you've messed up the formatting of the talk page by deleting line breaks.[3] I don't understand what you're trying to do. If you tell me maybe I can help.   Will Beback  talk  05:49, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, sorry, when I was editing all the spaces between edits in the same item dissapeared, and I tried to change it back to how it was originally, perhaps without succeeding. I will be more careful. I have not found the website I saw with the comparison of the Wiki bios of Prem and Hitler, I have found another one, but it mentions the webiste I had removed, and it does not talk very nicely about you, so I do not mention it in the discussion pages nor here, but I found it just typeing in Google: Prem Rawat, Hitler Wikipedia, there are several websites. Google is fantastic.--Pedrero (talk) 18:24, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request for arbitration

[edit]

Another request for arbitration has been filed with regard to the Rawat articles, and you may want to comment and/or add yourself as a party. See [4]. Best, Jayen466 11:48, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
