I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was 29th United States Colored Infantry Regiment, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. We are the Pekin Public Library. "From the History Room" is where our Local History Specialist posts the library's researched articles on Pekin and Tazewell County history. It is not simply a "blog" and the documented facts which the library brings forward ought not be dismissed merely because they are posted on a WordPress platform. PekinReferenceDesk, an account created about 11 years ago, is Jared Olar, Pekin Public Library Local History Specialist. I use it only when wearing the "Local History Specialist" hat and as far as I can remember I have no other Wikipedia accounty. Other library staff here use their own Wikipedia accounts. As further clarification, since these edits I make are done under my auspices as the library's Local History Specialist, that is why I said "we are the Pekin Public Library." I did not mean to imply that anyone else uses this account -- but it is only used at and through the library, solely for the purpose of helping bring forward documented, researched facts about Pekin and Tazewell County. Considering Wikipedia's policies, it will be best that my account here be "retired." Though the articles I research on Pekin's history are intended to tell Pekin's story in as accurate a way as possible, none of them may be quoted or cited on Wikipedia due to the policy that most curiously considers articles posted on a WordPress platform to be less accurate or reliable than articles posted at newspaper websites -- and anyway it is not permissible for me to be the one quoting/citing them or doing any relevant editing.
