Thoughts on Wikipedia[edit]
I've used Wikipedia for as long as I remember, and believe that it is the best website on the internet. It has helped me so much that I cannot help but to repay it by contributing to it. This quote said by the Wikipedia founder reflects my vision about this site: "Imagine a world in which every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge. That's our commitment." The Wikimedia Foundation owns a number of projects including Wikipedia and other projects. With the combination of all the projects combined there is no need for any other website. I use Wikipedia as a search engine by typing my search item in the search bar, going to the corresponding article, and then scrolling down to external links. The websites listed are the most pertinent. Additionally if you need to download software, such as an image editor (like Photoshop) or an antivirus software, Wikipedia can give you all the computer software you need for free. You can just click on this link to get everything you need. If you want to see a collection of images (like google images), just go to Wikimedia Commons and type the what you are looking for, just remember to put Category: before your search. There are other great things about Wikimedia, but I won't go into that now.
