Please stop marking all your edits as "minor" when they do not meet the criteria[edit]

Information icon Hi Peptide Walking! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. January 21 I SHALL STOP ALL EDITING OF EDGAR PICK. I HOPE OTHER EDITORS WILL DO A GOOD JOB

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Peptide Walking, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Editors with a conflict of interest are asked not to edit articles directly, but to use the article's talk page to propose changes instead. Please do not continue to edit without responding to this request. Melcous (talk) 11:08, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

On my Wikipedia page I was asked specifically to provide citations at: - He is a member of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the American Association of Immunologists, the Society for Leukocyte Biology, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the Israel Immunological Society.[citation needed] - Pick’s research has been supported by grants from institutions including the Israel Science Foundation, the US-Israel Binational Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the German-Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development, the Israel Cancer Research Fund, Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum, and the Leukemia Research Foundation. He has been a regularly invited speaker and/or session chair at numerous international meetings, most notably the Gordon Research Conferences.[citation needed] - Pick is married to Leora (born Syrkin). They have two daughters.[citation needed]

I have reliable links to most of the points for which citations were requested As far as my wife and daughters are concerned, there is no way to prove that my wife's maiden name was Syrkin and that she comes from the Nachman Syrkin family, which I defined as "Zionist aristocracy". I can also not prove that Dr. Anat Pick is my daughter but I provided a link to her academic credentials. In the original version, I added the name of my second daughter, Dana Pick-Zucker, and stated that she is a social worker with Tel Aviv Municipality. I cannot prove this (she appears in the list of employees, which is in Hebrew).

Hi Peptide Walking, this request is confusing and very time consuming for an editor to complete, so I am going to decline it at this time. Please read the following instructions carefully if you want to make a new request:
  1. Please post your request on the talk page of the article you want to edit (NOT here)
  2. Please use the following format for your request: Section A: The text as it currently appears in the article Section B: What you would like the text to look like. Section C: The references you are using to support or verify your claims. Your references should be reliable sources. Please note: Wikipedia editors will not contact people or organisations to confirm credentials, nor will they accept a letter of confirmation from the organisation. Editors will only include facts that have been published by reliable sources, like news websites or academic organisations.
If you have any questions, please go to the WP:TEAHOUSE or the WP:HELPDESK. Thanks and happy editing! Z1720 (talk) 15:57, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
