Hi. This is Professor Siegel. I am just testing out writing on your talk page. You can ignore this message! MLSiegel (talk) 19:19, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review[edit]

Hi! I thought you guys had well-organized sections and topic focuses. For the "Time Abroad as a Diplomat's Wife," I think a bit more information can be included. While reading, I asked myself what type of assignments did her husband do from those mentioned countries? Was there a particular experience that helped open Ida's perspective on racial justice? I think the section would be great if you could answer those questions.

I don't believe the "Civil Rights Activism" needs much change. I thought the wording was smooth and held accurate information. If you can, maybe for the legacy potion, you can speak about other projects Ida took part in or how she made an impact? Explaining in detail why the work she did matter. Good job!! Hi! I thought you both did a great job of providing fact based information that was free from emotional bias. I think your intro could be a little more in depth. I appreciate that you kept it so simple but if I were to read this page not knowing anything about Gibbs I would want an intro that introduced her a little more thoroughly. I also wish your legacy section included some more information but I do realize that that may have been all that you were able to find. I like your organizational structure. I found myself wanting a short summary (not even a full sentence, maybe just written right after she is mentioned) of why her sister Harriet Gibbs Marshall was important considering that she was emphasized in her early life section. Overall great job! Your writing is clear and concise.Ccwiki16 (talk) 22:20, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
