Concur with IrishGuy. In order to have an article about a company here on Wikipedia, there needs to be proof that the company is "notable," meaning that there are third-party articles or books about it. For more information please see WP:CORP. As for whether or not there are other company articles on Wikipedia that do not abide by WP:CORP guidelines, this is unfortunately the case, as these articles are often created quite rapidly. If you see such an article, and it does not appear to have any sources which verify its notability, you can suggest it for deletion by placing a {{prod}} tag on the article, or bringing up your concerns on the talkpage.
