Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Doub's Mill requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Where it's gone

[edit]

It's now at User:Perinll1/Doub's Mill. I've moved it into your user space for protection. It can be worked on in user space without getting tagged (so long as you avoid attack, hoax, spam and copyright violation - those can be tagged anywhere). OK. For an article to survive on Wikipedia, it needs to show notability WP:GNG which is backed up with reliable independent sources WP:RS. Have a read of the policies and do a bit of Googling or digging in text sources. Talk to either or both of User:MelanieN and User:Tokyogirl79, who are good at article work and who seem to enjoy a challenge. Those links go to their user pages - just click on the Talk button and add a message at the bottom with a heading inside two pairs of equals signs (==Heading==) and sign off with ~~~~. That puts up a signature with time and datestamp. The mill may or may not be notable enough for an article. It may just have to go into the article about where it is. I don't know. See what you can do and do get the girls involved. They're good. Peridon (talk) 12:07, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

Grammarxxx, thanks for the deletion. I am a novice and I did not intend to have Doub's Mill as an article. I thought I was in a sandbox and that I was just playing around to learn how to write an article. I am also having a hard time learning how to navigate around Wikpedia. Bear with me. I think I have responded to the correct person in the correct manner. Thanks, Luigi Perinll1 (talk) 13:45, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
