Women's biographies

Hi there, Peripatetic, and thank you for creating at least twenty biographies of women over the past two or three months. Your efforts have certainly contributed to improving coverage of women on the English Wikipedia. In this connection, you might like to become a member of WikiProject Women in Red. You can sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. While I'm here, I should point out that when you create articles based on pages in other language versions of Wikipedia, for purposes of attribution you should mention this in your first edit (or in a later edit in order to resolve potential copyright problems). It is also useful to add a "translated" template to the article's talk page. See Help:Translation for more details. If you run into any difficulties, please let me know. In any case, I look forward to many more women's biographies. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 07:29, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Notice

The article Bassim al-Ansar has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Two books of relatively unknown poetry that don't appear in simple search results aren't enough for an article to be worthwhile. Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
