Refimprove[edit]

Hi, re this edit: a {{refimprove}} doesn't have to be at the very top - it is designed so that it may be placed at the top of sections if the appropriate parameter is supplied, viz. {{refimprove|section|date=April 2024}}, which admittedly hadn't been done in this case. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:32, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Engineer info box[edit]

I was looking for an engineer infobox when I found this discussion: [1]. I used the box you adapted for Stephen Harriman Long on Donovan Berlin's article. Works great. Thank. Malke 2010 (talk) 04:06, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Peter Hobbs/Westbahn BS-map-v2[edit]

Please remember to prefix your user space drafts with "User". I've moved Peter Hobbs/Westbahn BS-map-v2 to User: Pete Hobbs/Westbahn BS-map-v2. Also, there appear to be two accounts: User:Peter Hobbs and User:Pete Hobbs. Which is correct? Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 05:42, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wikishovel! Thanks for message to my talk page re the prefixing of user space drafts. Yes, a) I forgot abut the prefix (I'm 5yrs on Wikipedia, but only created my first user sub-page a couple of days ago), and b) You guessed correctly, I am indeed the "Pete" account. I write my name as Peter most places, but the other ("Peter") account was already taken when I began on Wikipedia. Thanks for also setting speedy deletion underway for the "Peter Hobbs/Westbahn BS-map-v2" page. Pete Hobbs (talk) 06:29, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Who Threw The Gin In The World?"[edit]

Thanks for adding that one. This is one of my favourites Even though it's not one of his classic solo efforts, it has some really superb guitar breaks from Gaggy Mroceck, Achim Reichel and Rainer Baumann, and some very tasty Hammond from Jean-Jaques Kravetz. The whole album is really inventive. I would send you a link to the full album on YT, but it's almost certainly a total copyvio. Praise the Lord!!
