I seem to be unable to edit? did I do something wrong with my edit yesterday - I read the policy pages and thought that I was doing the right thing. I'm very sorry if I got it wrong, surely I shouldn't be banned for one mistake!

I checked your talk page history, you weren't blocked. What page were you trying to edit? Respond on your talk page please, and sign your response like this: ~~~~ Southern Illinois SKYWARN (talk) 13:05, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I want to add to the nokia e61 article (there is a nokia e71 coming out) --Phil McCavity (talk) 13:09, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I get this message -

You are currently unable to edit pages on Wikipedia. You can still read pages, but cannot edit, change, or create them. Editing from Phil McCavity (your account, IP address, or IP address range) has been disabled by Thatcher for the following reason(s):This user is a sock puppet of Fredrick Day, and has been blocked indefinitely. Please refer to Checkuser for evidence. See block log and current autoblocks.Your IP address is 87.113.0.101, and the block has been set to expire: indefinite. --Phil McCavity (talk) 13:11, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I can't help you directly with that. I looked at the checkuser archives, and your name was not there. I have left User:Thatcher a message about this. I will hopefully have more details soon. Southern Illinois SKYWARN (talk) 13:25, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - I'm off to the pub (it's a bank holiday here). I'll check back later. --Phil McCavity (talk) 13:27, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked: I ran the check after seeing the current discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Fredrick_day. There is absolutely no question that McCavity was created on the same IP and PC as User:Fredrick Day, in between registered edits by Day and logged out edits that he signs "Section 31".
