I am the club historian of Metairie Country Club and I have written numerous history summaries for the club. I understand if I need to start from scratch but my draft is no longer there. Did you delete it? I spend many hours formating and citing many sources. I'd like to have my draft back please. Philipgordillo (talk) 01:03, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your draft was deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement of https://www.metairiecc.org/careers/club-histor it is unlikely to be un-deleted. `Please address your conflict of interest on your user page too, Theroadislong (talk) 07:55, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will ask again. Please return my draft so I can redo the text. The formatting of everything else including my references and citations took many hours. There is no conflict as I volunteer as a member of the club. I am not paid for what I do. Have you taken the time to read my sources? It's a historic club and we have sister clubs by the same architect with less research and sources on their pages. I will redo so the text but please do make me start everything from scratch as this is my first time contributing to Wikipedia. Philipgordillo (talk) 23:20, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You "volunteer as a member of the club" you have a VERY clear conflict of interest which you need to properly disclose. Copyright violations will not be undeleted. Theroadislong (talk) 23:28, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I will ask a third time. Please return my template without the paragraphs so I can redo the sections you are pointing out. Alternatively, you can send the whole thing back so I will delete the narrative and rewrite the history from scratch. I will add a "connected contributor" label to the page. I am not an admin so cannot un-delete your draft. Theroadislong (talk) 11:33, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
