This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the intersection of race/ethnicity and human abilities and behaviour. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

I also feel you need to read wp:spa, this is the only topic you have edited.Slatersteven (talk) 12:16, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I asked for a bibliography, and two experienced editors implied that I was a white nationalist by likening my discussion to an "alt-right playbook", and suggesting that I go use various other sites which "white nationalists", like.

I've had accounts in the past, none of which I used to edit pages related to politics, never had a problem, lost interest and stopped. I haven't even used this account for that. All I did was open a topic on the talk page suggesting the subject's entire body of work being missing was an oversight, and for that I was strawmanned, insulted, and told in other words to get lost.

For instance; for pointing out that citation in the opening paragraph was weak, I was treated as if I was arguing, in bad faith, that it was wrong. The intention of the statement was to point out that the scrutiny applied to the content of the article is selective: a throwaway line in a media column; top of the page. Asking for the mention of publications by the subject of the article; bugger off to conservapedia with your white nationalist friends.

Utterly pathetic. I was willing to take the barbs from Summerphd until they pulled that. I don't know what sort of people he/she deals with on a given day, but I'm not an outlet for those frustrations. Phillycheesetake (talk) 04:07, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Phillycheesetake, Wikipedia is here to document things, not showcase them. We document Molyneux. If reliable independent secondary sources talk about his books, we can document them, too, but we're not going to include them based on primary or unreliable sources because that would give undue weight to fringe views.
