Dream face photo

[edit]

The problem with the photo is that:

  1. You upload the photo to Wikimedia Commons, a website that delete inmediately non-free photos with the fair use argument. The non-free photos like this or this are uploaded in the local English Wikipedia servers, not in Wikimedia Commons. But in the non-free photos for biographies cases (like Dream case)...
  2. The non-free photos of persons (like this or this) are uploaded in two cases:
  1. When the person of the photo is deceased, or
  2. When take photos to the person is practically impossible for very specific reasons.
In this case, I suggest you ask if this photo could be acceptable for his usage clicking here. Sr. Knowthing ¿señor? 17:03, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

For the record, fanart is actually not a free to use as you may think. Character designs are all copyrighted. I think there is a Game Theory episode that explains it if you want to learn more. –MJLTalk 01:43, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at TommyInnit shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Information icon Hello, I'm SamX. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on TommyInnit, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Twitch streams are not acceptable sources.
