And that was a good catch you made in the first place. After reading the quote, I remembered White Pony being compared to the Pumpkins and thinking "Should I pick that up and give it a try?" Best, Dan.—DCGeist (talk) 05:40, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Radiohead bear logo.png)

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Radiohead bear logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Papa November (talk) 14:08, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work with the PNG scan of the logo. I've updated the vector version using your new image, so I'll go ahead and delete the PNG if you're happy with the SVG. Papa November (talk) 14:08, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you're right. I'll be away for a few hours, but I'll see if I can fix it later on. Papa November (talk) 14:33, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Put your name on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Deftones list? I spent one lonely evening doing that crap for my own amusement, and if someone else put there name on the contributor list, it wouldn't seem such a lonesome endeavour. You don't even have to edit anything. PS - take a look at my ongoing revamp of the Deftones discography. Comments are always welcome. Seegoon (talk) 04:26, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

R.E.M.

[edit]

I can't seem to find any free/licensed pictures of the band before Bill Berry left (or with Michael Stipe back when he had hair, for that matter), and the main image in R.E.M. (band) isn't all that great either. Can you see if you can find more images? I want to take the article to FAC soon. Thanks. WesleyDodds (talk) 03:14, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deftones discography

[edit]

A couple of things - first, you added "Teething", which is on (Like) Linus; I'm not sure if it should be included for that reason. Second, do you own B-Sides? If so, could you have a look at the liner notes and see if you could divine who directed the videos still without an attributed director? It'd nigh on complete the article, and once it's reached that stage, I'd be tempted to shoot for for eventual FL-status. Thanks! Seegoon (talk) 13:44, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Template:Anime voice2

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Anime voice2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 22:53, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:NoConfidenceMan.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:NoConfidenceMan.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 14:48, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi, I'm looking for Eduard Friedrich Mörike's opera "Eduard auf dem Seil" (according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silpelit), but I can find any information, who ever has played it. If do you know any link to the information about performance this opera please drop me an e-mail at fazoo@o2.pl, because it seems till now, that nobody's played it ever. It's really important for me so I'd be thankful for any information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.9.92.72 (talk) 06:16, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please update your status with WP:VG

[edit]

Dear WikiProject Video games member,

You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.

The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.

All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:

Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
