Adopting?

[edit]

Hi! I'm phschoirgirl, and I was hoping you could adopt me. I'm looking for some input on the article about the California Proposition 10 (1998) Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Phschoirgirl (talkcontribs) 14:05, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'd be glad to adopt you. Just add {{adoptee|Arbitrarily0}} to your user page. The California Proposition 10 (1998) article is looking good. For starters though, it needs inline citations. If you need help with these just let me know. Also, as a courtesy to other users, try to remember to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Thanks, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 22:30, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would love some help with that. The two things I am having great difficulty getting are the inline citations and posting a picture with my article. Phschoirgirl (talk) 01:02, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here is how you put inline citations in an article:
- First, put the text "<ref> </ref>" around the text you wish to cite. For example, to cite Google.com, you would add<ref>[http://www.google.com/ Google] Retrieved December 14, 2008</ref>
- Then, under a section titled "references" or "notes" add the text <references />. This will automatically arrange all of the article's notes.
I recommend testing this out here, at your own personal sandbox, where you can make all the test edits you want. To add images, you first must upload them. Once you have uploaded an image (or if you already have), let me know, and we can continue from there. Let me know if this doesn't make sense, good luck, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 01:24, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I apparently and not clicking on the correctly link but i can not seem to figure out the photo uploading. I did get the citations and am in the process of doing that. Thank you. Phschoirgirl (talk) 04:28, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Try going to Special:Upload and uploading it there. Let me know if this doesn't work. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 20:36, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
