hmm, that was a nice welcome. to save Richard James Allen frm a similar fate i've done a bit of formatting etc. it will need to be written as factual, rather than promotional (guidelines biographies are at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons) awards and similar help, links to independent mentions/reviews are necessary for an article to stay & everything has to be referenced. good luck ⇒ bsnowball 11:06, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kamikaze[edit]

I have deleted your addition to this article, which briefly described Mr. Allen's book. It does not appear that the work was used a source for the article and the mention of the book therefore seems out of place. Thursday's Fictions[edit]

I'm afraid I must decline to restore the page. Advertising is not an issue of being a for-profit enterprise or not. It has to do with the tone and purpose of the page. The page was written in a promotional tone, had gratuitous, repeated external links to the subject's web page, and had no independant references. The latter is likely not as big a deal, as I suspect such could be found if the rest of the article's claims are true, but they are still needed. But this was an advert deletion not a notability one. Please read WP:ADVERT on what makes up an advertising page. You might also want to read WP:COI on why it is generally a very, very bad idea to write articles on projects that you are personally involved in. We all have biases, and personal involvement makes it very difficult to write neutrally about the subject, which is required. - TexasAndroid 18:06, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Karen Pearlman[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:TF Poster FINALa.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
