Yes, it would be absolutely fine for you to recreate that article if you include any of that information. The version I deleted literally said nothing about it other than that it was a bank in Denmark. Hut 8.5 19:33, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Using pay-to-read sites as sources

Hello! I think it's a bad decision to use any of them under any circumstances because it's really hard to tell if they really contain the info the article claims it has isn't it? Oppashi (talk) 20:40, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

No, I don't mean books because you have to pay for a book only once. And anyway you can get the relevant book from a library or from a friend for free, while this site is obviously keen on getting money for writing articles and using data of North Korean sites which might not be worthy to get paid for. I think if it's possible we should replace all these sources related to NKNews. Oppashi (talk) 05:46, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Did you understand it is one particular car, not one of a production run? Eddaido (talk) 10:04, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

As far as I am aware, $48 million[1] is more than $35 million. I don't see how it being a single special edition car or not changes that. Pieceofmetalwork (talk) 10:18, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
The money was the value for which it was insured. Nothing to do with an auction price. Why are you fixated on auction price? I don't think this car has ever been auctioned and can't imagine circumstances when it might be. It is NOT "a single special edition car". It was the prototype for what was universally recognised to be the world's best car. Anyway $35 million in 2005, How much now? $100 million? Eddaido (talk) 10:31, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Harry Metcalfe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Zhongwei–Lanzhou high-speed railway

Hello, as the creator of this article I thought I ought to message you before making any major changes.

Checking the Chinese Wikipedia article, it covers the whole line from Yinchuan to Lanzhou. This is also how it's being covered in recent news articles. Would you support moving the article to Yinchuan–Lanzhou high-speed railway and expanding it to cover the Yinchuan to Zhongwei section? There's definetly more Chinese railway articles that could be merged, but I'll leave those for another time! NemesisAT (talk) 23:28, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Sure go ahead, the Lanzhou Zhongchuan airport intercity railway is also potentially a part of that railway. Pieceofmetalwork (talk) 08:58, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll go and move the article in that case. NemesisAT (talk) 09:50, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

At China National Highway 580, the article reads "China National Highway 501 will run from Aksu in Xinjiang to Kangxiwar, also in Xinjiang." This seems like a clear factual error (the highway being discussed is 580, not 501) - could you please double-check your work and be more careful going forward? Thanks. Sorry for that, I correct it. Pieceofmetalwork (talk) 13:51, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
