Thanks for your guidance! I was under the impression that my sandbox was a safe place to work on drafts. Is there a way for me to delete that page in my sandbox, or do I just let the system do it?

A userspace draft should have "User:" at the start of the title (i.e. User:Pinkelk/sandbox/Proof of Identity). The problem is that you didn't add "User:", which means the page ended up being created at the mainspace. In any case, your draft's content already duplicated our article on Personal identity, so perhaps instead it's best for you to contribute to that article instead. Happy editing. I really appreciate your help, and I will write my drafts in my Userspace from now on. However, I don't think it is correct to say that my content is already duplicated in the article Personal Identity - that is mostly philosophy, and I am writing about practical Proof of Identity - very different, and an important and current subject. Even the article on PII really doesn't get to the subject of Proof of Identity. I will, in you insist, add my content to the Personal Identity article, but it may well look quite out of place.
