Hi. I just spotted your recently-created article on frequently-encountered unusual words in crossword puzzle answers, and have a concern about it. Any information that gets added to Wikipedia needs to be backed up by credible sources, and must not be original research. If there has been some kind of published study on the frequency of words used in crossword puzzles, then there is something to base the article on. As the article stands at the moment, it appears to be entirely original research, so I have had to tag it as a proposed deletion under Wikipedia's WP:OR and WP:PROD policies. Please, don't be discouraged. I realise it can be a bit disheartening to have your work questioned and its removal suggested, especially when it's your first contribution, but it's nothing personal - Wikipedia has these policies for a reason. I recommend you read through some of the help articles linked to in the above welcome message, as well as the ever-useful checklist "The Perfect Article". The article will not be deleted for several days, so you still have time to add sources to the article. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page and I'll try to help. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 22:27, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
