Ways to improve Ernst August Köstring

[edit]

Hi, I'm Vladsinger. Pinnerguest, thanks for creating Ernst August Köstring!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Wikipedia has a built-in template for generating a dynamic reference list rather than manually numbering them. I've added it for the first source, so you can see the syntax for it. For details, see Wikipedia:Citation templates. The second source was not referenced in-line so I could not add the template for it.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. vlad§inger tlk 04:53, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Usually when we write a biography, we look for sources that are more substantial than obituaries. I know it can be tough to find stuff, but the general rule of thumb is that we should have independent reliable sources for anything in the encyclopedia. WP:BIO is a handy reference guide to what we look for there. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 03:56, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
