Just wanted to let you know that I respect you for having the guts to revise your opinion. Too many editors get stuck arguing a position and refuse to budge even when the situation changes. It has been my experience here that you will earn a much better reputation acting as you did instead. And don't let this incident intimidate you from nominating other articles for AfD. As you well know, there are many articles out there that should be deleted, and bold nominators like you are appreciated. db-nonsense

Just a word of advice: db-nonsense does not always fit every article that needs to be deleted. Some of the articles need db-empty or db-bio.Diez2 02:31, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion tagging

Please be careful in tagging articles for speedy deletion. Neither Power 30 nor Pepsi Power Hour are eligible for speedy deletion (they were stubs about possibly notable Canadian cable TV shows), and they were clearly not patent nonsense as referred to in CSD:G1, which is limited to gibberish, random characters, or things that seem to be sentences but don't actually mean anything. These articles, for better or worse, were perfectly intelligible as describing two cable TV shows. That does not mean that they are necessarily good Wikipedia articles, but they're definitely not speedy deletes, either. Thanks, --MCB 03:29, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for starting this. Hope you don't mind, but I made some expansions to follow the conventions in other rpg wikiprojects. I think we should strive to be as uniform as possible. D&D wiki project consensus

A call to all members of the D&D wiki project. We are currently having a major dispute that needs to be settled by all members of the D&D wiki project. The dispute is as follows. 1. Should we put disambiguation tags on D&D articles preemptively or should we wait until there is an article conflict with some other Wikipedia article. Vote on preemptive or wait.

2. What should we label these tags? Example "child's play (module)", or "child's play (adventure)" and at this point we are taking all suggestions.

Friedel disambiguation page conflict

Dear Piuro, you just reverted the Friedel disambiguation page. There is two points I wish to comment: 1. I agree, my wording was inappropriate and poorly chosen, simply because I was amazed of the incredible relationship between four people in direct lineage; 2. On the content of what I added, I am sure it is correct and I have gathered sufficient information I intend to further develop. I simply desired to make the link from this page.

See hereafter my proposal of new text to be more factual.

The Friedel family is a family of famous French scientists, Charles, Georges, Edmond and Jacques:

• Charles Friedel (1832-1899), French chemist known for the Friedel-Crafts reaction
• Georges Friedel (1865-1933), French crystallographer and mineralogist; son of Charles
• Edmond Friedel (1895-1972), French Polytechnician and mining engineer, founder of BRGM, the French geological survey; son of Georges
• Jacques Friedel, (1921-), French physicist; son of Edmond, see the French site for Jacques Friedel

I would be pleased to reorganize the Friedel disambiguation page in the way I was starting modifying it. So, I think it add an extra value to the page. Could you understand my viewpoint ? What is your opinion ? Thanks for your answer. Best regards.

WikiProject: Dungeons & Dragons

Hi! I’ve been working on a lot of ‘’Dungeons & Dragons’’ articles lately and saw that you were a member of WikiProject Dungeons & Dragons), and am inviting you to rejoin Wikipedia’s D&D group. I've been hard at work removing tags placed inappropriately on D&D articles, as well as modifying articles to remove tags that were placed legitimately.
