License tagging for Image:TGH.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:TGH.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:12, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:TaylorDayne.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:TaylorDayne.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

IP blocking[edit]

Regarding the email you sent me; you may be affected by an IP block of another vandal, especially if you're using AOL. I might be able to help if you tell me which IP address is affected (your email didn't mention that). OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:43, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Cynthia cruz

A tag has been placed on Cynthia cruz, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SkierRMH 01:31, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Taylordayne.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Taylordayne.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigrTex 04:42, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Taylor Dayne[edit]

Please do not inflate sales information for this artist without first citing a source. This identical edit has already been removed several times by a few editors. Thanks. - eo 02:17, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re:TAYLOR DAYNE[edit]

Is there a published source that shows her worldwide sales? Certifications are easily sourced (for example, through RIAA's website and search function), but I'm not sure about definitive sales figures, especially since she released stuff prior to SoundScan. The reason the changes were removed was per WP:CITE. Is there perhaps an official statement from past record labels that can be linked to? - eo 19:16, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Final r2 c2-1-.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Final r2 c2-1-.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 21:32, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Ron Golbus[edit]

A tag has been placed on Ron Golbus requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 17:47, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Ron Goldbus[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ron Goldbus, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

non notable

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Nikki Haskell[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Nikki Haskell. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nikki Haskell. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:BevRedCarpet.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BevRedCarpet.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:07, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Taylor Dayne[edit]

Hi. Why did you remove the main photograph from the Infobox of the Taylor Dayne article? You provided no rationale or edit summary to accompany your edit. This is the same content removal for which User:66.55.168.2 has been warned three times, and for which User:76.93.62.117 was warned. Can you explain what's wrong with the photograph? Without a valid rationale, your edit may carry the appearance of vandalism and sockpuppetry. Nightscream (talk) 04:06, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Addendum: Hi. I just saw your old messages on the article's talk page about the photo. I've responded there as to how to change the photo. But please do not remove photos already there unless you have a better one that's ready to replace it. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 04:33, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
