[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of Control Panel applets, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Network connections has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Nakon 23:00, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Yahoo!, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Tracer9999 (talk) 22:26, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Talk:Yahooo, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Drmies (talk) 00:07, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your sandbox

[edit]

I moved your sandbox to User:Polobob/Sandbox because sandboxes should be in your userspace, not in article space. Reaper Eternal (talk) 02:35, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Brief Block

[edit]

I have blocked you briefly. The purpose of being a Wikipedia editor is to edit articles. To date all your article edits have been reverted. When your block expires, please think very, very carefully before doing any edit. Ask yourself: "is this advancing Wikipedia". — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:16, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 01:31, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I only got 1 warning! Polobob (talk) 02:29, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

You seem to have miscounted, there are 5 warnings on this page Jac16888Talk 02:31, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I only got 1 warning for this block!--Polobob (talk) 02:33, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

You should consider yourself lucky that your first block wasn't indefinite because many other admins would have blocked your account indefinitely. Adding what Jac16888 said, clear-cut vandalism only accounts may be blocked without warning. See WP:Vandalism-only account. Elockid (Talk) 03:53, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't work like that. It doesn't reset back to needing 4 warnings after your block expires. You were blocked briefly for pissing about, it expired and you carried on showing you didn't take note of why you were blocked in the first place. Since you're clearly of no use to us you were blocked for good--Jac16888Talk 02:36, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You also removed many warnings from your own talk page. While it's your right to remove warnings if you want to, that doesn't make them go away and they will still be considered when deciding whether to block you. In fact, the fact that you removed the warnings proves that you read them and knew not to edit disruptively. You got many many warnings which you continued to ignore, even after you had a chance to cool down. Zachlipton (talk) 04:58, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am so sorry for vandalizing Wikipedia. I know what vandalism is and not to do it.Polobob (talk) 23:06, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

This request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Read our guide to improving articles
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click the Edit tab at the top of that article and scroll down past the message informing you of your block.
  • Copy the source of that article and paste it to the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = [[Article title]] =) and save the page before you improve it.
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you. Stephen 23:22, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Then he should start his own account and take credit for his own vandalism; as it is, you receive credit for his, and thus, you're no longer welcome on Wikipedia. --jpgordon::==( o ) 23:46, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
