Mendelssohn[edit]

Thanks for your query. The date of 1836 is perectly correct and is supported by the references. Just because he was working in Leipzig didn't prevent him returning to Dusseldorf for the Festival! Ihave added an extra sentence and reference to the section on Dusseldorf about his leaving.Best regards, --Smerus (talk) 18:26, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delius[edit]

Thank you for your contributions. I have reverted them in accordance with WP:OVERLINK. A surprising number of readers know what, e.g., the United States and England are. Tim riley (talk) 18:13, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message – a pleasing one to get. Yes, now I look at it you're quite right about the two links you suggest restoring. I ought to have spotted those before reverting en masse. Regards. Tim riley (talk) 16:09, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I notice that the Japanese WP has a Featured Article on Gabriel Fauré ([1]). If you are minded to translate into Japanese any of the other English WP Featured Articles on composers it would be excellent. Tim riley (talk) 19:51, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've copy-edited the Piano Concerto (Delius) article, but please don't hesitate to undo or alter any of my changes that don't say exactly what you intended to say. I enjoyed the article and learned a lot from it. I haven't heard the piece for years, and shall now go and listen to a recording of it. Tim riley (talk) 19:28, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You absolutely must not feel worried about getting me to copy-edit your English articles. My own linguistic skills in any language other than my own are not good, and I am filled with admiration for someone like you who can write an article in a language not his own. It is, I assure you, a privilege to be able to help with fine-tuning your English prose, and I shall be happy to be at your service for future articles. (PS. I listened to two of the three versions of the Delius Piano Concerto yesterday via the wonderful Naxos Music Library, but, forgive me, I found it pleasant but unmemorable.) Viktor Kosenko[edit]

Thank you for improving the article Viktor Kosenko with more detailed info. I like when people turn 6 into 7, not 6 into 9. Thanks ! Krenakarore TK 16:59, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. This kind of contribution is what I can only do for English Wikipedia. Please inform me if there are anything unsuitable with my action. I put reply message here because I don't know how to use your talk page!--Ponruy (talk) 17:16, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violation[edit]

Thanks for your note. I'll follow up in the very near future. I hope all is well with you. Best wishes, Tim riley (talk) 13:05, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the plagiarised material, but left intact the purely factual info. I have explained on the article talk page what I have done. Congratulations on spotting the problem and saving Wikipedia from any accusation of violating copyright. Tim riley (talk) 13:24, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Louis Adam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Henri Lemoine (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
