Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, Popularuse. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Raffi Yedalian, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Hello DoubleGrazing,

Thank you for the follow-up question. My relationship to the subject of the draft is simply as an editor and contributor to Wikipedia. My primary motivation of writing this article is the belief that the artist has a significant body of work and accomplishments in the art world, and writing this article will be a benefit for Wikipedia readers and Art lovers. I want to clarify that I do not have any personal or financial interest in the topic.

I’m committed to upholding the principles of neutrality, ensuring that the content is in line with Wikipedia’s guidelines and policies. For any further clarifications, I’m here to assist and collaborate.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Raffi Yedalian (October 16)[edit]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Timtrent were:

"Lebanon. [13] [14] [15] [16]" and other examples are prime examples of WP:CITEKILL. Instead we need one excellent reference per fact asserted. If you are sure it is beneficial, two, and at an absolute maximum, three. A fact you assert, once verified in a reliable source, is verified. More is gilding the lily. Please choose the very best in each case of multiple referencing for a single point and either drop or repurpose the remainder.

In addition, references in section titles are useless. A reference is intended to cite the facts, not the headings

Reviewing this further without knowing which references you will choose is impossible.

For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS, and is significant coverage. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact cited, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this draft a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the person is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.
