Orphaned non-free media (File:ClearwaterChristianCollege.png)

Thanks for uploading File:ClearwaterChristianCollege.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:12, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

Notification of automated file description generation

Your upload of File:APFL-USA-states.png or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 12:08, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

  • Another one of your uploads, File:Big Eight-USA-states.PNG, has also had some information automatically added. If you get a moment, please review the bot's contributions there as well. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 13:25, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Independent Florida Alligator logo.png

Thank you for uploading File:Independent Florida Alligator logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vereinigte Staaten listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Vereinigte Staaten. Since you had some involvement with the Vereinigte Staaten redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so.

I'm not sure how useful this is, given the unequal areas of counties. Perhaps coloring by population density would make more sense. --NE2 03:00, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 3

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I see that you reverted my changes to this article. The reason for linking through the (disambiguation) redirect is so that those of us at WP:DPL (and the bots that create our lists) know that the links are intentional. This is spelled out at WP:INTDABLINK. -Niceguyedc Go Huskies! 11:07, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
