I am confused i understand you are just doing your job, but i do believe this is revelant information to the media page for Portsmouth. You have information about an old TV station that folded. Portsmouth Live TV is a new online TV station one of the first in the UK, this is supported by Portsmouth City Council and is not advertising but factual. How would someone go about putting factual information onto the media page for Portsmouth? Please advise

hmm i may take a look[edit]

I hope this PortsmouthLiveTV will cover Portsmouth naval events, i may tune in and watch to see if its any good. BritishWatcher (talk) 19:07, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion requirements[edit]

The general inclusion requirements are based on notability and can be found here. In summary, to establish notability a subject has to demonstrate significant coverage in more than one independent reliable source. For a Portsmouth based concern, one such source may be an article in The News concerning the station and its launch. An, admittedly quick, search shows zero coverage of the station.

Additionally, WP:COI strongly suggests not adding material for anything which you are connected. Under the same guidelines, your user name is inappropriate and you user page must not be used to promote the station. Nuttah (talk) 19:22, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
