Sabkshenasi-e Memari-e Irani

Hi I’m a new page reviewer and I’m looking at this article you created a while ago. As far as I can see, the sources you have provided don’t support the notability of the book. Do you have sources that discuss the book, rather than the architectural periods described in the book? Thanks. Mccapra (talk) 18:36, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

@Mccapra: I actually believe that the page for this book and the pages about the proposed "styles" be speedy deleted or at best be merged in the Iranian architecture. The claims made by this particular book and its so called "styles", are only found in itself; therefore it is not possible to find other reliable sources discussing either the book or the styles. The so-called styles and their "names" have caused some misunderstanding too. For example Azeri style, according to this book is a series of buildings erected in Iran (and greater Iran) during the Ilkhanid and Timurid era and not architecture in Azerbaijan in North western Iran and south Caucaus. I proposed the merger following the merger in Persian Wikipedia. Khenamothara (talk) 21:16, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

Muslim queens regnant

Hi! Thank you for your contributions. Just a quick clarification. I don't necessarily think a category of Muslim female rulers are uneccessary. But it has the wrong name. "Queen regnant" is not just the name a a woman who rules. Its the term for a queen who rules. But not all female rulers were queens. Some were princesses, duchesses, empresses - or sultans or khatuns. They could have many different titles. "Queen" is a title, so only women who had that title could be placed in such a category.

If you wanted a category to gather all the muslim women who ruled, then the category should have a different name. For example, if it was called "Muslim women rulers", then all Muslim women who ruled could be placed in it: it would not matter if they had the title queen, sultan, khatun - all women rulers could be placed there. But with such a specific name for a category as "Queens regnants", only a small number of Muslim women rulers can be placed there.

So: I don't neccessarily think the category is wrong (although there is not such a category for any other religion, so why should there be for Muslims?) I just think it has the wrong name. So you can write "Category as the wrong name" instead of "apparently uneccessary" in the speedy deletion request if you want, because that would be more correct. @Aciram: Hello, thank you for your clarification. As you pointed out, women rulers from other religions have not been categorized this way. Although it took me hours to create this, I now think it is unnecessary to categorize people from such different contexts and backgrounds into one category.
