License tagging for Image:Helmet logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Helmet logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Copyright problems with Image:Helmet logo.jpg[edit]

You cannot simultaneously license your company's logo under {{cc-by-1.0}} and disallow commercial use of the image. Furthermore, you cannot license your company's logo under {{cc-by-1.0}} unless you either (1) explicitly indicate its license as such on your company's website or (2) indicate in formal correspondence with the Wikimedia Foundation.
ok.. I'm not sure what you want me to do.  I am the vice pres and webmaster of Pensacola Power Inc, my logo and all the graphics our

site uses is plainly copyright listed on our website. i see now that it can't be cc if it's under copyright on the website but what do I need to do here? We're a local football team, not a multi-national corporation - how can i prove that i do indeed have the right to put this logo on my wiki page?
