Orphaned non-free media (File:Uncha Maaza Zoka.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Uncha Maaza Zoka.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Achyut Godbole

[edit]

Hi there. I am also a fan of Achyut Godbole but that does not mean that we are allowed to add copy righted material on the wiki page. Please stop edit warring at the article and discuss the issue first on the talk page of the article before making changes in the article. Thanks. --Abhijeet Safai (talk) 08:37, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are right as new material has to be added to the article in an effect to survive it. But reference must be given. If we dont give reference, then ambiguity increases about notability and so the deletion discussion is going on. When I created article, I had given enough sources to make it stable. And it was stable. Later ppl added material simply by copy pasting and we can see the condition now.--Abhijeet Safai (talk) 13:36, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is the best hing to give references which are given in the autobiography. So you are on the right path. No issues. But the issues is of references. Give the name of the book, publication date, publisher, Author and page number from which the information has been taken. It might be a bit difficult for beginner to give references. But you will learn it as you edit more. Till the time you can put the material with the given details on the talk page of article and can ask for help to put it on the article. Someone or myself will see to it and will put to the article properly so that ppl will not question the reference. And you also can see as how proper referencing can be done.--Abhijeet Safai (talk) 04:51, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. I agree that I thought that you are a newbie :P The reason was - I saw your first edit, and that was on 4th July 2012. And so I thought like that. It is very impressive to make such a progress in about 6 months. We shall see now as how the deletion discussion comes to conclusion as keep. Thanks. --Abhijeet Safai (talk) 06:50, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

With reference to: your latest edit on the Achyut Godbole page. I think you should rather develop your draft at a place convenient to you, and add it on to the article when you find credible sources. Prashant Serai (talk) 17:51, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Have you noticed that the article has been deleted? Abhijeet Safai (talk) 18:38, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
