Thank you for your message[1] on my talk page. I am most surprised that you would say "this is the first time my submission has been reverted", given that earlier today you made an edit[2] which deleted massive amounts of content on South Korea and which was reverted three minutes later.[3]
Concerning Kasur, please read our policies on verifiability and identify reliable sources for the existence of a legend that the city was founded by Kusha and that this legend is widely believed. If you wish to discuss it further, we should do that on the talk page of the article, Talk:Kasur. We should not edit-war but should follow the Bold, Revert, Discuss route: you made a bold edit, I reverted it, now we discuss it at the article's talk page where others can join in and help us.
In a moment I will add a welcome message with some useful links; I'm sorry we've not welcomed you here before. NebY (talk) 11:32, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Pratiksharma172000, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Kasur have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome!  NebY (talk) 11:34, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Karur again[edit]

Thank you &nbsp. I have never been a full time Wikipedian, apart from the fact that it has been used, extensively as a tool/source for many a references I make on a day to day basis. This explains my inexperience in handling posts, altogether different than making minor edits to pages so that the scant knowledge I possess can be shared. Regarding S.Korea page, I am sorry for the changes made and could not fathom the effects that it would make in its wake. I will try to be more cautious in the future. Finally, coming to Kasur, I can provide reference from the official website of the city along with references from unchallenged material on Wikipedia and Britannica, the free encyclopedia.

1. Wikipedia - [1] 2. Official site of Kasur City - [2] 3. Britannica - [3]

I really appreciate the efforts you have put in from your busy schedule to point out my mistakes, and will look to it that such a chance is not given to you. Do revert after assessing the sources.

thanks and regards, --Pratiksharma172000 (talk) 12:01, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am glad you regret that edit on the South Korea page - you'll understand that it did not make you look good and trustworthy! As for Kasur, I've responded at Talk:Kasur#Legend. We should always aim to discuss articles on their talk pages rather than on user talk pages, so that other people can see the discussion and join in. In this case, we might find someone who has reliable sources - reliable, that is, in the way Wikipedia means it (I do recommend reading Wikipedia:Reliable sources).
