Copy and pasting

[edit]

One of your edits appear to be copy and pasted from another source. We at Wikipedia require paraphrasing. Please paraphrase in the future. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 05:31, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warned once, and now twice. You may not copy material verbatim from other websites into Wikipedia. Aside from the copyright issues, such material is invariably promotional and therefore inappropriate for an encyclopedia article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:03, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
From your reply to Doc James what you were doing would violate both wp:SOCK and wp:COI. In order to contribute constructively, it would be best if you simply identified independent published sources about the topic and suggest such sources on the article's talk page. Other editors can craft the page. LeadSongDog come howl! 13:55, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your interest in Wikipedia. While Wikipedia is not a place for promoting an organization, person, or brand, it is the world's most consulted source about health information and the best source available on the Internet to find information about clinical trials and medical research. If you have any interest in helping us improve the quality of health information on Wikipedia, and not only promoting a brand or organization, then say hello sometime to the community at WikiProject Medicine and if you like, I would meet on online in a virtual conference space to give you a tour. Thanks for your attention. Blue Rasberry (talk) 13:36, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
