User name and paid contributions

[edit]

Your user name leads me to wonder if Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure is appropriate. Paul foord (talk) 06:10, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Question / Request

[edit]

Copied to here, Pf: My username (User:Pressinfoaus) is just an old name I chose years ago, but you are correct that I work for the organisation, this is how I could add a detailed history and then I started referencing the content to external sources. I have now added a paid disclosure statement to my talk page, but another editor rolled back my changes. I need help to ensure that factual information is presented on the page, so I made sure my edits were cited (including newspaper citations). Can you let me know why they were rolled back? -- User:Pressinfoaus talk 06:49, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your question (above) about Wesley Mission, an encyclopedia article aims to be neutral and factual citing independent reliable sources, promotion (marketing) information (and often information from the perspective of the subject) is treated as Wikipedia:Spam.
