When to add links to places and countries[edit]

Hello. There's a guideline for when to add links to place names such as cities and countries at MOS:OVERLINK. Generally, we don't link to names of countries if those countries are well known. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 08:14, 16 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

But conversely, we don't arbitrarily remove links just because they are red. See WP:REDLINK. I notice several new editors doing this same activity on articles related to small publishers. Are you all part of a school project or something? DMacks (talk) 12:09, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are still doing this (Baltimore and Ohio Railroad). What you are doing is against our site guidelines. Please stop, it is disruptive. DMacks (talk) 17:25, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

do we think that 5 volumes of published book isn't enough ref ? Dave Rave (talk) 09:01, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
