Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Primadonnatella, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Respawn Products, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Respawn Products requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --Bears (talk) 07:04, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It is almost never suitable to copy content from another web site to Wikipedia, for more than one reason, the most important being copyright. When you post anything to Wikipedia you release it for anyone in the world to reuse it, either unchanged or modified in any way whatever, subject to attribution to Wikipedia. It is very rare that the owner of a web site licenses content for such very free reuse, and in those few occasions when they do so, we require proof of the fact. We don't assume that content is freely licensed on the unsubstantiated say so of just anyone who comes along and creates a Wikipedia account. Certainly we can't accept text previously published on a web site which hasacopyright notice saying "all rights reserved", as in the caseof text you posted to Enneagram of Personality. I apologize. I am new to Wikipedia (that was my first post), and I intended to only save the copied text as a draft with the intentions of editing it in the morning. I wanted to insert all my sources right then and there, so ideally it would be easy to come back to them the next day. I was obviously too tired to realize what I was doing, because I did not realize my posts went live, especially that one. Thank you for your dedication toward this site. I am obsessed with reading Wikipedia, and have been for years, I apologize for my “newbie” mistakes. Primadonnatella (talk) 11:27, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
can i still access the previous edit changes/deletions so i can revise it? i worked quite a bit on researching and cross-checking the sources, so i was sell hoping to post about the topic. Primadonnatella (talk) 11:41, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you click the "preferences" link at the top of the page you can set an email address for your Wikipedia account. If you let me know when you have done that I will email you the deleted text. (Wikipedia will forward the email to you without telling me your email address.)
It was lucky that I came back to this page to see whether you had posted anything after my last message, as otherwise I wouldn't have seen your message. If you post to a talk page and you want to make sure that a particular person sees your message, you can have that person automatically notified of your message. There are several slightly different versions of how to do it, but the following is as good as any. If, for example, you want to notify me, then start your message with {{ping|JBW}}. Make sure you also sign your message by posting ~~~~, and I wiil be automatically notified. (It's important to include both the "ping" and the ~~~~ in the same post: it won't work if you do one and then do the other in a separate post.) JBW (talk) 07:56, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@JBW: I hope I am doing this correctly. Thank you for your patience. I do have my email set up. Primadonnatella (talk) 13:53, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you did it perfectly correctly, and I've emailed it to you. JBW (talk) 18:15, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't edit war at Criticism of the Quran

[edit]

I'm afraid your changes are inferior in style and grammar. Wording such as "depict the text in an objective lens" and "People of the Christians are Jewish faiths" [sic] is inferior to the earlier text. "Investigate the historical reliability of the Quran's origin" is hard to parse (an origin can hardly be reliable or unreliable) and the sentence "The most common criticism pertain the authenticity of provided sources that Quran, internal consistency, clarity, and ethical teachings" is ungrammatical in several ways. I understand that you mean well, but I will block you from the page if you continue to insist on changes that degrade it. Bishonen | tålk 21:53, 3 March 2024 (UTC).[reply]

i do mean well i was in communication with the editor right away, regarding reverting my edit. i also made a post on a talk page. i am new to this, but i am trying to explain that i think the tone is not neutral. and thats what i am trying to address.
i will try to expand in a way i that provides more literary integrity, but i don’t predicate the threats of being blocked. there is clearly a disagreement on tone, and my intentions are were certainly anything but to degrade it. Primadonnatella (talk) 22:49, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
