Adoption

[edit]

Would you want me to adopt you? This is my vacation account but I am experienced with how wikipedia works. My proper account is TheQ Editor. You can see the stats here. i am available almost everyday. The only downfall is that I am currently in china so the time zone difference could be a problem. If you would want me to adopt you, you reply to this message.Vacation Q (talk) 06:35, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption message

[edit]

Hi, Sorry I took a wiki break and am just getting back. I saw your message on my talk page and if you would like still to be adopted, sure, I would be happy to help out.

It would be good to know if you have something specific you'd like me to do... or if you have an article that you're working on now.

Happy editing!--CaroleHenson (talk) 23:32, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That'd be great! I mainly want to learn about formatting and editing articles by adding pictures, relevant info.ETC. CaroleHenson (talkPrimitiveOne (talk) 14:45, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, great! The best way to add images is to load them to the commons using this link and follow the steps. The most important thing is to ensure that the images are in the public domain to avoid copyright issues. In the US, this means that the images were made before 1923, put into the public domain (i.e., are not copyrighted and are free to use), or are your own images.
Do you have an article that you'd like to work on?--CaroleHenson (talk) 03:03, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
