Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Bognor Regis

[edit]

Princessdawn123 - Thanks for your edits on Bognor Regis. I hope you don't mind if I point out a couple of things. Firstly, we don't add notable people to articles unless the subject has an article on Wikipedia, otherwise articles would be swamped with unlinked people; secondly, adding inline citations should be done in a particular format - see Wikipedia:Citing_sources for help on this. I will change these for you so you can see how it's done. Hope this is helpful. Best wishes, Tony Tony Holkham (Talk) 20:39, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tommy Robinson (activist); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Favonian (talk) 18:44, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for arbitration

[edit]

Hi, I've removed your request for arbitration. Arbitration is the last step in the Wikipedia dispute resolution process, and the arbitrators also do not ordinarily weigh in on content disputes: they are not an editorial board. I would suggest you consider other forms of dispute resolution first. TonyBallioni (talk) 20:00, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
