RE:Vandalism?[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:External links regarding the policy on adding external links. Your link to http://www.cockapoocrazy.com/ was already removed by another user and you added it once more. The website in question does not meet any of the requirements under "What to Link", nor can it be considered to be a sufficiently reliable source to be used as a reference for the material in the article. I have read Wikipedia:External links regarding the policy on adding external links. Here is my understanding of why it works as a source and why your opinion that it meets none of the criteria is incorrect. Is the site content accessible to the reader? Yes, it is accessible. Is the site content proper in the context of the article (useful, tasteful, informative, factual, etc.)? Yes. It is a huge website full of original articles about cockapoos, the subject of the wiki. Is the link functional and likely to remain functional? Yes. It has been up for a long time and never been down that I am aware of. As for reliability: Most of the articles are written by the author of two books and hundreds of articles on cockapoos. There are also several articles contributed by breeders. Why is reference material from a single breeder or a cockapoo club allowed on the wiki, such as the Zim Family Cockapoos link, but not reference material from the cockapoocrazy.com site? Also, if that information source is unreliable, why was the new section (Temperament)and info added from that same source left on the wiki page while the source link was removed? Please help me understand this better, because the External Links document and the Vandalism section do not seem to apply here. Psychocy
