Re: Thanks and apologies

No problem. It was minor. There can be a lot to take in & everyone makes mistakes when starting out. -- JLaTondre (talk) 19:25, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Article:Downshifting

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. -- Mentisock 12:24, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The above article that you moved into mainspace is a very similar copy of downshifting. There's no need for copies and I'm not sure if you wanted it in your userspace still so if in the future you want to request it again you can ask an admin. -- Mentisock 12:28, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It is the same article as downshifting as he is the one who created the downshifting article. It looks like he created this one first before he figured out how to convert a redirect to an article. I have cleaned things up. It was a good faith attempt. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:05, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
