Systematic Bias

[edit]

I agree with you about this..It really was the point I was getting at. Especially on holidays when Raul knows more people will be at home on the internet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pensil (talkcontribs) 19:26, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcome

[edit]

Just wanted to say thank you for the warm welcome you left on my talk page, that was nice of you. The internet is not usually where I expect to find kindness, especially considering we kinda disagree. Thanks again. 24.14.119.135 (talk) 13:22, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. Your thank you cheered me up, so thank you too. Puchiko (Talk-email) 13:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, your welcome did me too, so it was owed in kind. 24.14.119.135 (talk) 13:42, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your kind words. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.65.163.248 (talk) 07:19, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Careful, there

[edit]

Assume Good Faith. ClueBot beat me to a vandal revert, and I was in the process of undoing my change (which reinstated a bad version) when you reverted my edit labeling it vandalism. Careful, there (and I'll follow my own advice, although what I did was an honest mistake using WP:TWINKLE. - Ageekgal (talk) 15:39, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, honest mistake on my part too. I'll use the non-vandal rollback feature in the future. Puchiko (Talk-email) 15:43, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback

[edit]

You have been 2 granted with the rollback permission on the basis of your recent effort on dealing with vandalism. The rollback is a revert tool which can lessen the strains that normal javascripts such as twinkle put on the Wikipedia servers. You will find that you will revert faster through the rollback than through the normal reversion tools such as javascripts and the undo feature, because the rollback feature does not require fetching the data from the page history and then sending article data back to the Wikipedia server as the javascript requires, therefore you could save time especially when reverting very large articles such as the George W. Bush page. To use it, simply click the link which should look like [rollback] (which should appear unbolded if you have twinkle installed) on the lastest diff page. The rollback link will also appear on the history page beside the edit summary of the lastest edit. For more information, you may refer to this page, alternatively, you may also find this tutorial on rollback helpful.Yamamoto Ichiro 会話 19:29, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Wikipedia

[edit]

Then again, the fact that the Wikipedians have brought you into the fold even though you're 15 does support the opinion that they're paedophiles grooming adolescents. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.23.216 (talk) 18:53 4 March 2008

re: Hard Candy

[edit]

I've removed several fake and fan-made images from a lot of pop music articles, and this one is no exception. I appreciate that you've filled out the fair use rationale, however I still see no reliable source information. It just says "the cover art can or could be obtained from Warner Bros." What does that mean, exactly? Have they or Madonna's official website provided an official image? Unless you have an advanced copy and have scanned this yourself, where did you find it? - eo (talk) 20:38, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - if you add it in again I won't touch it - however the source is a blogspot, which is not technically a reliable source, so I can't guarantee that someone else may want it removed  :-) But go for it! Thanks - eo (talk) 12:27, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I Am Sorry

[edit]

Puchiko you issued my warning for the vandlization on Advance Wars Days of Ruin

Why do you care?

[edit]

Why do you care about what's on what page? Maybe people who create the stuff on here should be the ones to edit it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.10.181.41 (talk) 20:22, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Warning removal

[edit]

Hello Puchiko! Your recent edit removed some justified warnings from 166.109.110.20. Please be more careful when editing user talk pages. Thank you! AVandtalkcontribs 13:38, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edits on Abraham Lincoln

[edit]

You are correct; rubbish per lots of page talk. Any mention is considered vandalism. Thanks for keeping eyes on. BusterD (talk) 14:24, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your comment

[edit]

I have never visited the Rolling Stones page on Wikipedia, and so did not change anything at all on it, nor have I ever vandalised the page. Please be careful and avoid this type of comment from now on. I do have an account here on wikipedia, but since the message came to me when I was not signed in, I will reply accordingly via my IP address.

Peer review of the Esperanto article is now underway

[edit]

Hello, Puchiko! As a member of the Esperanto task force, I thought that you may be interested in the latest development that we are undertaking: a peer review of the Esperanto article. The ultimate goal of this peer review is to prepare the article for candidacy for featured article status, so please be very critical and demanding in your judgment if you are able to participate. Thanks!

Motto of the day

[edit]

Hello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help.

When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this.

If you have any questions, please let me know, or post on the project's talk page. I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the suggested mottos, and any additional suggestions you'd like to make. Until then, happy editing! Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:31, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
