, it is considered a conflict of interest, and whether you are paid for the edits or not, you are expected to follow the policy and make an edit request on the company's talk page, so other uninvolved editors can consider implementing your changes. - Most of the changes in your edits were not helpful:
- The first sentence begins with the company name, but you changed it to
Seattle-headquartered...
Refer to WP:NCCORP for the relevant guideline. - Both the lede as well as the infobox already contains the correct headquarters. When we say
based in Seattle, Washington
, it implies that the company is headquartered in Seattle. - You removed the {{lang-ko}} template
- You added an unnecessary citation to the company's live stock price page. This is not needed, as we already have the {{NYSE}} link to the company's stock in the infobox.
- You removed that it is a South Korean e-commerce company. Reliable sources continue to describe it as such because besides its founding there, over 90% of its business is from there. The company moved to the US, despite having nearly zero business there, only to get access to better funding prospects including IPO.
- Your addition
operating in Korea and Taiwan
to the lede is helpful; but I think you missed including Japan. I can add this part to the article.
