Info
[edit]I'm a bit of a neat freak sometimes. I like to have things organised, so any discussions here, that are no longer in use, and i spose after 1 week, will be archived. This will make sure this page doesn't get outa control and messy. The archive will be by date. :)

- Thanks, although i'm already scared of getting in trouble for doing anything, just from seeing some of the "discussions" that have been had!! Pup2006 07:04, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, if you make an innocent mistake you will be allowed at least one warning. The worst that will happen is your work will get mercilessly edited, which I've already done to some of it. I'm not keen on the BDSM per se (well not really at all), but I'm happy to answer any questions you may have while editing. BigNate37T·C 07:53, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- well, what you did was perfect! Thanks.. The idea i thought was to start something, or contribute to it, and let others continue or come back later and add to it myself, rather than the whole thing myself. Thanks again for showing me the extra little bits i need. Only been at this for a few days and i'm gettting my head around categories etc, and a little bit with internal references..
commercial links
[edit]Sorry if that wasn't understood (and welcome to WP). Unless commercial links are used as a reference or somehow have some outstanding use it is better to leave them out. You mentioned seeing them in other articles and that standard applies there too even if the link has been there awhile. The barebacking article in particular has A LOT of added links to websites, specific video studios, etc. Most of them need pruning quickly. SchmuckyTheCat 16:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Wow... talk about an article in bad shape
[edit]I followed the Barebacking link from your userpage... This article is in terrible shape. One thing really stuck out for me:
- Currently, there is not a medical study that has received enough publicity to cite as a source for the following information but it can be successfully postulated that...
Regardless of whether or not this is true, this is in direct violation of WP:V. Between flagrant policy violation and other problems with the article, it is a candidate for major rewrite. In fact, it might even garner a delete consensus if someone listed it at WP:AFD. Not that I'm saying it should be deleted, just using it as a measure of the seriousness of this article's disarray. Since you've listed this article as one of your interests, you might want to put some work into it if and when you have time. I don't want to be overbearing or anything so I'll leave it at that, but if you want I can elaborate on which aspects of the article should be addressed from my point of view.
Oh, and I know how thin a medium text can be for communication, so if I'm way out of line with my comments, just let me know. I'm only trying to be helpful :) BigNate37T·C 07:35, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, this would be a biggish project i dont have time for right now.. but would like to get to. I was also worried about too much change due to the amount of discussion and arguments over this article, which i'd also need to read into before making any changes, as well as lots of research to find usefull references! But any pointers as to where to start/what needs fixing would be great!
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Ft logo.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ft logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:15, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:PSA logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:PSA logo.gif. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 05:18, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
