Welcome!

Hello, PureFire, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  Cantara 05:27, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Irwin pic[edit]

Your change to the page Steve Irwin was determined to be unhelpful and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- cmhTC 01:22, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. I understand that you found you couldn't help yourself, and appreciate that you were going to remove it. Despite this, I would suggest that the image is in poor taste and should not have been added in the first place. Please don't do that again. -- cmhTC 01:56, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not edit my talk page to delete history. I wasn't going to mention it, but since you're obviously still on the topic, in general removing recent warnings from your own page is frowned upon. (By the way, replies should be made to User talk pages rather than User pages.) -- cmhTC 03:10, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Restoring a page[edit]

If you want a deleted page to be restored follow the instructions at WP:DRV. Use one account on wikipedia, and don't use disruptive sockpuppets or you will be blocked. —Pilotguy (push to talk) 23:33, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well thanks for your help in the end. I appreciate the humour of the block which prevents me from following your advice. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by OldManSin (talkcontribs) 05:50, 11 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

IP Vandalism[edit]

User:PureFire appears to have been vandalizing under the IP 82.24.158.222. User has been blocked twice now for repeated vandalism and personal attacks. --Kathryn NicDhàna 23:43, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't know how to deal with you. Your definition of a personal attack is very different from mine. To disagree with someone's opinion is not the same thing as attacking someone personally. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by OldManSin (talkcontribs) 05:52, 11 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You've been blocked indefinately. Your only intent to disrupt is obvious. Don't worry, I'll be on the lookout for sockpuppets and have my abuse letter to your ISP ready. —Pilotguy (push to talk) 00:33, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure NTL will be delighted to hear from you. I hope you appreciate my help in identifying my sockpuppets. The thing that amuses me is that a user account in combination with an IP address can't really be an offence. If it were everyone on Wikipedia is guilty! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by OldManSin (talkcontribs) 05:54, 11 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]
