I notice that one of the first articles you created was Pierre William Johnson, which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

Deletion discussion about Pierre William Johnson[edit]

ANSWER OF PIERRE JOHNSON[edit]

Thank you for this remark. I want however to draw your attention to the fact that the creation of a page on Pierre William Johnson was not an initiative of myself, but of my editor, who acknowledged the fact that I am a public person in France and other countries. The page my editor has created is in French, as you can check on the French version of Wikipedia, through the link on the left column. I have just completed the page started by my editor, and translated it in English for the English version.

Please consider this cross-language history of the page Pierre William Johnson, and the fact that I am a Franco-American (in the continental sense) public person. As a consequence, I wouldn't advise deleting this page. However, you can make advise on how to improve this page and make it fully adequate with the policy of Wikipedia.

I have also added references to the page in French, such as : Publications with reference in the library of the Fair Trade Resource Network (USA)

as well as Study of Fair Trade markets in Guatemala also mentioned in Google Books [1]. This publication served as a basis for defining the interinstitutional policy on Fair Trade in Guatemala in the years after 2006, such as you can see here: [2] Plan for the development of Fair Trade in Guatemala (2007-2013).

So the issue of reference lacking are now solved, and those references will be added to the English version of the page, as soon as it is restored, to be at the same level of quality as the French version.
