Request reason:

Hello, i’m block for sockpuppetry, and i know and i’m sorry for that, i won’t do it anymore, but hear my story. In Early July, i was researching Siouan Languages, and one of them was stoney, and i notice that The Stoney Language has no θ and ð. In 2023 i was in Edmonton and i went to Calgary, and then went to Morley and i talk to some speakers of Stoney, and They show me the Stoney Alphabet, it has a, â, b, ch, d, e, g, h, i, î, j, k, m, n, o, p, r, rh, s, t, th, u, û, w, y, and z, and i notice that they have th ⟨θ⟩ ~ ⟨ð⟩ sounds, i saw many books in stoney, and so came back to Edmonton. A year later i edited Stoney Phonology, and added the Dental Consonants ⟨θ⟩ and ⟨ð⟩ and updated some pages, and after i done with Stoney, i take a break for an while, in tell my edit has been Reverted By @Fdom5997. So i edited it back the phonology, and later it was reverted by @Fdom5997 again. So i talk to @Fdom5997 about it and i said “I’ve have a source that tells about the θ and ð exists in the Morley Dialect, is in this website languagegeek it tells the θ and ð sounds” but he said “That is not a reliable source. The information is already cited and the source that is used is actually reliable” but i disagree with him, in mind i was thinking about it and said what are you talking about? In mind, So i said “know how stoney sounds, there are speakers of stoney that you need to contact that is a speaker or a linguist to contact, and know that stoney has θ and ð sounds” but again he didn’t agree with me, and said “Well here, we go by citations of material. And it is already cited (with good sources) that Stoney does not have those sounds” and i couldn’t believe it, i was so confused about it, so i said again “You need to hear a native speaker, or look for a video that contains stoney, or go to the Stoney Online Dictionary or download it theres an app for it” but he said again “No. Those are not good sources either. It has to be a written and published source” and i tired of his excuses. I edited it back with an new accout and after that he reported me for sockpuppetry, and later on, i was block from editing, so that’s my story. I truly hope that this block will be appealed, as I am only editing in good faith, and not abusing the system. Thank you. Qarakaqami ali Washkariqavikevemaji (talk) 05:10, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Thank you for agreeing to refrain from sockpuppetry. Nothing else for me to do here other than decline this unblock request. Yamla (talk) 11:46, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If instead you wish your block to be lifted, you need to convince us you understand WP:RS. Your unblock request above clearly demonstrates you don't. You'll also almost certainly need to go six months with zero further edits and then apply under WP:SO, given your significant abuse of WP:SOCK. More than 15 accounts?!? That's a very, very clear indication you haven't the slightest intention of following our policies or being a good faith editor, but WP:SO gives you a way to demonstrate otherwise. --Yamla (talk) 11:49, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
